This is a great FBO. Missed Lauren, but Angie was friendly and helpful. They even had a detail service in and offered to clean the plane. Wish I would have know that before I cleaned it on Sunday, I will call ahead next time. Great job and thank you for the service.

 

I checked AirNav on Saturday afternoon October 29th about FBOs at Louisville Bowman Field. I selected Louisville Executive Aviation and gave them a phone call ahead with my service requests. When I arrived, the legendary Lauren Collins was working. Everything was taken care of and everything materialized as planned. A few hours later, mission accomplished, I was back in the air and very pleased with the service. I will be back in a month and will certainly return to Louisville Executive Aviation. Good job.

 

Decided to stop @ Lou Exec Av two weeks ago based on other comments. Sorry I missed Lauren, but everyone else took good care of me. Car was handled as promised & on the ramp. And that's all I'm asking for, I don't need the red carpet. Just do what you say you'll do, & Lou Exec took good care of me & my BE35. Easy in & out.

 

Have visited here twice in the past two weeks, and will be back a few more times as I am taking my commercial rating from one of the schools on the field now (I live in Tennessee). First trip in was on business, and was treated better than I could have asked for, Lauren took good care of me and my plane and handled the rental car reservations (guys, you have to meet Lauren!). I even got a thank you card in the mail a few days later. Way to go! See you next time.

 

Louisville Executive began operating here last October. I've been around this airport for 35 years, and am very pleased to see that someone is finally operating this facility in a highly professional manner. Friendly people, great service. I even had one of their ramp guys come out and wash the windshield in my Baron when I was using the self serve pumps the other day. Keep up the good work Eric.

 

Made a planned overnight stop on a return flight from NH to TX, based on previous AirNav comments about Executive Aviation, and the SS fuel prices. After a long day of very hazy VFR, we landed to find out the car rental company botched our reservation and had our car at the other Louisville airport. No problem thanks to Lauren Collins. She called our rental company, determined what had happened, and then arranged a car with Exec's rental company at the same rate (about half the normal rate), and had it waiting on the ramp. She also recommended a great restaurant, looked up their address, and gave us maps and directions to it and our hotel. I just can't say enough good things about this FBO and Lauren. They could write the book on exemplary customer service.

 

Had a great experience at KLOU! I had to fly my wife urgently so that she could pick up a medical device that was needed somewhere else. My landing fee was waived (although I took no fuel) and the rental car we requested was given to us as a courtesy car. Kudos to everybody at Louisville Executive Aviation, especially to Laureen Collins who made the experience great! I will certainly use LOU Exec Av as my FBO any time I need to fly back to Bowman Field. Thanks!

 

I was in twice in one week, 5 days apart in July, in a Cirrus. Louisville Executive earned top marks both times. When was the last time you were met in your single engine plane with a welcome carpet? Never? Me too. This is an indicator of the level of service and attention to detail you will receive at this FBO. Fuel was taken care of immediately. They have very cheap Self Serve and reasonable Full Serve. They have a good crew car policy which I used both times with ease. The second time, the crew car was a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. The staff is extremely cordial and engaging, quick with help or advice if you need it regarding the Louisville area. The facilities are newly spruced up and quite adequate. Plus, there are real pilots hanging around to pass the time with! A really really good FBO.

 

Congratulations to Louisville Executive for a successful overhaul of the old Triangle Aviation. Service is superb and the facilities have been spruced up nicely, but they still maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. How long has it been since you were met in your single engine plane with a welcome carpet? A nice crew van was driven onto the ramp for luggage loading. Fueling was prompt and courteous. Top marks for this FBO.

 

Stopped for a rest and weather check between Iowa and Asheville (good thing) - sigmet for severe turbulence seemed a good reason to RON. They were very helpful, made a hotel reservation and called the cab for me, took care of the plane. I filled up since they still had issued with the self serve and were fueling from the truck at the self serve price. Thanks Rafael!

 

Louisiville Executive Aviation provided excellent customer service on our recent visit to Bowman Field. The line staff and folks in the office were both outstanding and have really cleaned up the place since taking over last year. I'll be back!

 

We arrived just hours after the worst ice and snow storm in Louisville history. Temps were around zero and two feet of ice and snow on the airport, but the airport folks cleaned the runway and got part of the taxiways ready in the few hours they knew we we coming. We were the first plane to land in over a day. Executive Aviation brought out extra help to get the hangar approach plowed and open. So the 340 was tucked away in a safe place for the next three days. Great FBO.

 

Staff was very friendly, gave us a discount on our fuel purchase for being an Angel Flight. Stayed for a couple of hours, they let us use a van to go grab lunch. Highly recommended A+ all the way.

 

These people are trying really hard to do it right. There was a mix up with our rental car and they made it better than right by giving us a better car than what was reserved. They are pumping fuel from the truck at SS prices and have a can do attitude that is getting harder to find today. The tower controllers seem to have a grasp on (southern hospitality) also.

 

Stopped in for fuel at SS prices, but fuel farm was being worked on so they gave me the SS price with full service. Good job!

 

My first visit to Louisville and this FBO was outstanding. They had a crew car available (a lot nicer car than most) and the plane was fueled and ready when I got back. Outstanding service and exceptionally pleasant people. Highly recommended.

08/10/2005 14:50; Very nice people and good service, clean facility. I spent three weeks with LEA flying in & out of Louisville. Call and check hours of operations, though... I had to wait a few minutes one morning because they didn't open until 7am (published FBO info says 6am). Other than that they took very good care of me. Highly recommended.

 

07/03/2005 22:03; I have made multiple trips to Louisville over the past year and have used LEA exclusively. They have provided service above and beyond the expected. The employees are friendly and accessible. They are quick to meet you when parking and help carry in the luggage. One weekend I was short one headset and one of the employees loaned me his personal headset for the weekend. Exceptional! I even received a thank you note in the mail for my business over the past year.

 

03/22/2005 22:09; Great customer service. I called to reserve a rental car and casually mentioned our hotel. At arrival, the linemen were ready to top the tanks and our rental car was driven up before we could exit the airplane. Inside, the desk clerk had printed Mapquest directions to our hotel. All done without asking. Plane was waiting out front when we returned at the appointed time the next morning. I'll gladly go out of my way to use this FBO again!

02/26/2005 10:45; I recently visited Bowman Field in Louisville, KY and because of earlier comments I read when I was preparing for my trip regarding which FBO to visit, I decided on Louiville Executive Aviation FBO and I can say their service was excellent. They were very attentive from the time I approach their facility to when I left. Good service...too bad other FBO's on field can not learn what good service is all about.

 

01/15/2005 18:04; Having never flown into LOU before, I read the other comments and chose Executive Aviation as the FBO. Glad I did. They were friendly and professional and it did not matter the type aircraft. I watched as they worked professionally with student pilots in Cessnas and charter King Airs pilots. When I fly back to LOU, no question which FBO I'll use.

 

12/23/2004 20:41; After a terrible time at Central American Airways, the operator at Aero-tech called LEA for us. During the freezing cold, snowy weather we had, the manager made a special trip to the airport, (though nothing was moving), to get us and another aircraft into his heated hangar. He was friendly and very accomadating. A great experience. We'll definately be parking and buying fuel from here now on. Service as it is supposed to be.

 

11/06/2004 08:08; Executive Aviation has taken over for Tirangle. Executive Aviation has taken FBO to a new level of service. They are currently doing some re-modeling which will significantly improve the FBO building. The service is fantastic, very personable & friendly employees. Employees are easy to spot in thier uniforms & are quick to get you parked. Their motto must be, what ever it takes. I can't wait to see it when the re-modeling is done. If you want top of the chart service this is the FBO to use.

Lou Exec has only been open a few short months. They now have SS fuel LL= $2.99/gal. They have repainted and repaired the entire facility. Employees have always been very helpful and accomodating. If your first experience was unpleasant, I encourage you to give them another chance. No I am not an employee!
